Tired of looking for people to play pickup ball with? One of the things I took for granted at my old job was that there were always people down to play. After moving, I went a whole year without finding a consistent group. On top of that, I kept getting matched with people who were way too competitive; I just wanted to get some exercise and have fun.
That’s why I made hoopfinder. This app lets you find and organize pickup basketball games in your area. You can choose your skill level so games match the level of play you’re looking for. After each game, you can rate your experience with the players you played with; and to keep things fun and a little competitive, they can rate your skills too. Think of it as Uber, except for basketball.

Account Deletion: To delete your account, open hoopfinder → Profile tab → scroll to the bottom → tap “Delete Account.” This permanently removes your account and all associated data including your profile, ratings, and game history.
Privacy Policy: hoopfinder collects your email address, display name, profile photo, and location data to provide its core functionality: finding and joining nearby basketball games. Game activity and player ratings are stored in Firebase. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. If you do not wish for any information to be collected, simply do not use the app.
